News from Institute of Lutheran Theology

by Doug Dillner, chair, Board of Regents, Institute of Lutheran Theology

News: March 24, 2008

Greetings from the Board of Regents of the Institute of Lutheran Theology. photo of Doug DillnerIt is our mission to educate and prepare ordained and lay Lutheran leaders for evangelical vocations so that they may walk in the WAY of Jesus Christ and know the TRUTH which is Christ, and witness their resurrected LIFE in Christ for all to see.

Our Board has just finished our first multi-day gathering in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and has made some very exciting choices for the future of not only our course of the Institute's actions, but for the wider Lutheran community who are hungry to receive graduate Lutheran education. The Board has given the green light for our institute to create programs for students of Lutheran theology to pursue the degrees of MA and STM. The STM (Master of Sacred Theology) is a second level professional degree conferred by seminaries and theological colleges and we are proud to be able to offer it.

We encourage you to visit our website at www.instituteoflutherantheology.org and see what educational opportunities may fill your personal goals. The Board also encourages you to join in our work in God's Kingdom with your financial or volunteer support. Please take a moment to visit our website and review our fall offerings and find out how, together, we can help each other.

For the Board,
D. S. Dillner, Ph.D.
Chair, Board of Regents
